Great Blue Heron New For 2008
These photos of Great Blue Heron were taken as the Blue Heron were building their nest
and raising their young. All of these photos were taken with a telephoto lens so I would not
disturb the Blue Heron or their young while I was there. These pictures were taken in
Aransas Pass Texas at the out side of the boat harbor where there are some sunken
shrimp boats. The city is now removing these boats so the next nesting season the Blue
Heron will have to find a new place for nesting .
